A Dip in Design: Staging the Chobani Meze Home
As professional stagers, the vast majority of our work entails furnishing apartments and homes that are for sale or for rent. But when we were contacted about an opportunity to design a Chelsea townhouse for a series of Chobani events focused on healthy snacking, our curiosity (and appetites) were piqued. Our mission? Design a modern home with warm rustic and Mediterranean accents that speaks to and works with a variety of living (and often, edible) installations throughout the house. The house would serve as the launching pad for Chobani’s newest healthy snack product — the Meze dip — so the space had to appeal to all the senses, taste included. Challenge accepted!
We teamed up with the talented creatives at Triggerhouse, a marketing and event-planning company that specializes in brand building. Studio D brought in all the furniture, art and accessories and Triggerhouse brought the plant life — and boy, did they bring it. In the dining room we installed a gorgeous live edge table with rustic wooden benches for seating, and where we might typically hang a painted canvas or framed photography, a living wall of kale, cabbage, tomatoes and herbs instead served as the lush buy alprazolam from mexico backdrop. Downstairs, we decked the indoor pool and spa area (yes, there’s a pool in this New York City brownstone!) with Moroccan poufs, colorful throw pillows and plenty of baskets for towels. The pièce de résistance? A floating garden in the middle of the pool, engineered and constructed by the Triggerhouse team. This thing was like a beautiful, miniature ark filled with flora (no fauna aboard this time). Take a step outside and you’d forget you’re downtown in the busiest city in the world. We transformed the terrace into a chic, Mediterranean oasis with twin teak lounge chairs, a colorful patterned rug and lots of lanterns.
When we finished, we couldn’t help mope a little about not snagging an invite to the fabulous parties that Chobani would be hosting at the house. But lucky for us (and for you) there’s still a chance to win a stay at this deliciously designed space. Chobani is raffling off their Meze Home for the Fourth of July, which means you could be spending your summer holiday eating yummy yogurt dip while taking a dip in your private pool 😉 Enter to win the stay here!
